It usually surprises people when they hear it for the first time. We have an orphan problem in America. In our country, the most affluent in the world, we have half a million orphans—children living on the streets, in group homes, and in foster care. South Texas is no exception: every day, several kids in Bexar County alone are removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. They are our neighbors.

Vision

Until Every Child has a Home

This is what we aim to see. Our vision speaks to the solvable nature of the problem. It’s that simple. As more and more people begin to hear and respond to the need, our community can effectively reach this vision as we work together from a shared conviction that a child without a stable, loving home is an unacceptable situation.

Mission

Providing Hope For Kids In Crisis

Hope is often a fragile thing. The kids we serve are in that fragile state of unsure and broken hope. What greater privilege could we ask for than restoring these kids through a model of loving care, bringing them true hope?

Core Values

We operate our mission from a framework of five core values that help define the what, how and why we do what we do. These are our core convictions:

  • Sacrifice—serving with the heart of God, whatever the cost.
  • Perseverance—never giving up on a child.
  • Integrity—in everything, above reproach.
  • Compassion—walking with children on their path to redemption.
  • Excellence—giving our best to those in need.
