Foster families, bio families, kinship placements, case workers, case managers, and anyone else in a foster family support network can shop at the New Braunfels Foster Closet. We have even had older foster children, teen moms, and kids aging out of the system come find essentials.

No, but it is best to confirm operating hours on our Facebook page. You can send a DM, call, or email us to confirm or make an appointment if you wish.

Yes we do! We accept clothing for ages 0-21 years old that are gently used or in new condition. We also accept other items like toys, shoes, personal hygiene supplies, cribs, books, etc.

We cannot accept car seats that are not in brand new, unopened packaging for liability reasons. We also cannot accept dirty or soiled items.

Yes! Though we are part of 1HOPE for Kids, we exist to serve foster families from all agencies across Texas. We just need to see a copy of your placement paperwork or department credentials.

We always need diapers (especially size 4), wipes, and clothing from 2-4T.

Families from New Braunfels, Seguin, San Marcos, Schertz, Cibolo, and surrounding Central Texas communities regularly receive support through the Foster Closet. We serve all families from all agencies in Texas.
