Defenders answer a call from the Lord to serve children in foster care through prayer and monthly donations, allowing us to go above and beyond state standards of care. These gifts allow us to provide kids in care with tangible items such as diapers and medical expenses not covered by Medicaid (forming helmets, braces, additional therapy, etc.). Defenders’ gifts also contribute to training and equipping foster parents with the knowledge and skills needed to lovingly parent traumatized children.
