Robert Parrish: Church Engagement

Robert serves as the Young Adults and Family Pastor at Oakwood Baptist Church in New Braunfels. He and his wife, Kristen, began their journey with 1HOPE in 2015 when they started the licensing process to become foster parents. In March 2016, they welcomed Samuel into their home, who later became the youngest of their four children through adoption. Samuel joins his siblings Hallie, Macey Jo, and Benjamin in the Parrish family.

Robert previously served on the 1HOPE Board of Directors from 2021 to 2022. Both Robert and Kristen are deeply committed to God's mandate to care for orphans and are passionate about 1HOPE's evangelistic and discipleship mission to provide a hope and home for every child. For them, Jesus is their 1HOPE.
