Pastor Mel Keyes: Church Engagement
Pastor Mel Keyes was born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised by his mother and grandparents. He joined the United States Air Force at 17, where he served for 10 years and met his wife, Kendra. They have been married for over 35 years, with three children and seven grandchildren. Mel has been the pastor of The Joshua House of Worship in San Antonio for 19 years.
An author of three books, including "Hell To The Know" and "7 Keyes For The BEST Of Your Life," Mel also published "If Carol Can," a life story of one of his ministry members. As an entrepreneur, he has produced conferences, radio shows, and a TV show and runs a travel business with his wife.
Mel is a community leader and adoptive parent, serving as vice chairman of The Community Clergy Advisory Board and a representative on the state's Advisory Committee on Promoting Adoption of Minority Children. He holds degrees in Instruction Methodologies, Cross-Cultural Studies, Theology, and Christian Ministry.
As a life coach and founder of “Master Keyes Coaching & Consulting,” Pastor Mel is dedicated to helping others excel in ministry, entrepreneurship, and leadership.
